Dinnertime

We experimented with a couple of new meals at dinner time this past week.  We made subs on Monday. So delicious they tastes just like Subway's.  We bought Hoagie buns, large pack of ham and salami, lettuce, tomato, provolone, pepperjack jalepeno, and american cheese. We had enough leftovers for the next day.

We did buffalo wings on Wednesday. Those were great also.  I bought the Tyson's 4lb bag of wings, hot sauce, and Moore's buffalo wing sauce. I baked the wings in the oven at 450 degrees for about 45 minutes. Then I coated one batch in hot sauce and placed them back into the oven for another 15 min. I put the second batch in the crock pot with the Moore's buffalo wing sauce on high for two hours.
Both batches turned out great, but the ones in the oven had the best texture. I think next time we will change it up a little and use the Moore's sauce and just cook them in the oven instead of the crockpot.

Fun Fun Day!

Saturday
We decided to brave the cold weather and take the kids out for some fun. It was really cold out, we even saw a few snow flurries. Our first stop was Golden Coral, one of our favorite places to eat.

We went to Coastal Grande Mall to let the kids play at the arcade. I beat Storm at air hockey, I think that was a first. Afterwards we let Haley and Storm get on the bouncy things, they weren't too excited about it and only jumped a couple of minutes. Too bad we had to pay first.lol   We got the boys some shoes from Rack Room. They had a really great sale.
We went to Old Time Pottery and found some great deals also. Hubby got a beautiful vase for his classroom and we found a king size comforter and matching curtains for our bedroom. We took the kids to Toys r Us and let them each get a toy. It turned out to be a really fun day!

Great News!

Lots of wonderful news to share. We got a letter from Storm's school yesterday saying that he has been accepted into the gifted and talented program. He was so excited when I picked him up from school yesterday. He has been really bored this year with his studies so I think this will definitely be good for him.

Haley is also doing great in school. She's not quite old enough for the G & T Program but she is aking A's on all of her tests.

This morning we had our twenty week ultrasound  and so far everything looks good. We also found out that we are having a baby BOY! We are really excited. Haley was hoping for a sister but either way she's just excited we're having a baby.

I am definitely behind on my end of the year posts. Hopefully I will have an end of the year recap soon.
