Storm had an award ceremony for the first nine weeks of school. He received a certificate for getting straight A's. Wow he's on the merit roll. I'm pretty sure I didn't get straight A's in third grade. He's soooo smart. Of course Haley is too but unfortunately they don't have award ceremonies for first graders until the end of the year.

Haley was in the local newspaper playing soccer. I would definitely post a pic of it but our scanner isn't working. Hopefully I can add it later.
Thursday was our Thanksgiving Feast at the school. It was really yummy. The kids didn't care for the food too much but they enjoyed going to the book fair afterwards. We splurged a little and bought several books, but the kids are really enjoying them. Hubby also had his Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday with his coworkers. I cooked ham hocks and lima beans. I don't know what it is about the word hocks but I don't like saying it. Or even typing it for that matter. Its funny, I was in walmart buying them and an associate was restocking the cooler. He was in my way so instead of telling him I needed some ham hocks I finished my shopping and went back to get them when he was gone. Silly Huh?
Haley had pajama day on Friday. I bought her cute snowman pjs. I took a pic as we were walking out the door and tossed the camera on the couch without turning it off. (we were in a hurry) Evidently I deleted the picture when I tossed it on the couch. Any way she was really cute in the pjs.
