Summertime is great but I think Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the smell of the cool crisp air. We have so much to celebrate.So many many birthdays and holidays. Lots of cake, candy, gifts, turkeys, and Christmas Trees. Oh what fun. Counting down to Talon's birthday, October 3. He will be three years old.
BPA Free
We have finally stopped using plastic water bottles that contain BPA. Except for hubby's lunch.(Couldn't be avoided) We use a Pur water filter to clean our tap water and I bought plastic containers(BPA Free) to refrigerate our water. Yes I know its still plastic and it probably contains other chemicals that the FDA has not bothered testing, but what can you do. I decided against glass because I wanted the kids to be able to pour their own water. I am going to purchase a glass picture for tea or whatever else. At least this is a step in the right direction.This will also reduce the amount of plastic that we use which in turn will help the environment. On any given day we probably went through 10 bottles of water.
We have been using the Pur water filter since February, the water seems to taste much better. It is suppose to filter 99% of pharmaceuticals, lets hope it really does. I also replaced Talon's sippy cup with a plastic one that is BPA free. Speaking of sippy cups and birthdays I think its about time he gave it up. We'll see about that.
Haley's first soccer practice is on Saturday. I can't wait. This will be her first time playing a sport I hope she enjoys it. I will definitely be posting some pics.
