Weekly Recap

Haley got the Busy Bee award. Woohoo!! She was tickled pink. They put her picture on the wall in the hallway and gave her a bookmark and a Busy bee pencil. She is really loving school.

Storm is loving school too. He loves math, science and P.E. The typical boy.  He got a perfect score on his science test.

Talon is excited about preschool storytime. It starts in a couple of weeks. I am also thinking about joining a moms club so that he can interact with kids his age. I think we would both enjoy it.

Last night Talon was all about hugs, kisses and I love U's. He got out of bed like twenty times to hug everyone. He is the sweetest little boy.

Haley's first soccer practice meeting was today. We will be meeting on Tuesday for her first practice. We really need to find her some cleats. We have been to three stores so far and none of them had wide fit. She may just have to wear regular tennis shoes.

This afternoon we went to the Ripley's attractions for Teacher Appreciation Week. The aquarium was really fun although we've been a thousand times. Afterwards we headed over to the boulevard to the other attractions. Parking was crazy. There are parking meters everywhere so we had to use this coupon they gave us for 2 hours of free parking in this tiny little parking lot. I think every teacher from North and South Carolina was crammed in there. The mirror maze was awesome. It didn't last long but it was fun. We also went into the Believe It or Not Museum. They had a few new things but most of it was the same as last year. We didn't make it in the Haunted House or the Moving Theater, the lines were a mile long.
